Jason joined a new online station based in the UK at launch to look after 2pm-4pm Monday - Friday. Force Radio targets members of the military community both serving and retired worldwide.
Heart 106.2 Pilot
Jason came very close to joining Heart in London back in the mid ’00s. Sadly it didn’t quite happen for him, still pretty special to have been considered for one of the Worlds leading radio stations.
Key 103 Demo Audio
Jason spent 4 happy years at one of the UK’s most successful stations, Key 103 he presented Mid Mornings with the Top 10@10 and the 11:33 Quiz. Great City, Great People, Great Place to call home.
Signal 2 Request Show
Stoke on Trent was Jason's on air home for 2 years. Working on Signal 1 covering every shift and working on Signal 2 from time to time. Taking him back to the early days of his career at WABC.
The Breeze Show Pilot
Jason was invited to The Breeze in Southampton to demo. This led to cover work on the network over Easter and an offer to join full time in Torquay. An offer that was difficult to turn down.
Coast 103.2 Dubai
Jason has been lucky to call the United Arab Emirates home twice in his career. Firstly in Dubai at Coast 103.2 presenting Drive then the Breakfast Show. Part of the Channel 4 network based in Ajman.
Key 103 Drive Cover
Jason covered breakfast and drive during his time at Key 103. His main shift was mid mornings and for 10 months he looked after late nights from 10pm-1am. Here's some audio from drive cover at Key.
Real Radio Network
Whilst working for Bauer in Hull, Preston and Leeds, Jason joined the Real Radio Network as a freelancer as it transformed into Heart. 3 months work led to a year working at Salford Quays.
Rock FM Preston
Possibly the coolest station building in the UK. You have to hand it to EMAP and Bauer they understood a great building helps make great radio. Really proud to have worked at 'The Rocking Church'.
Paddy McGuiness Key 103
Paddy was a regular face at Key 103 way before Top Gear. This interview came about with no notice as he'd arrived too late to be on the breakfast show. Total pro, lovely bloke and naturally funny.
James Morrisson Key 103
James performed at Key 103's Summer Ball and caught up with Jason afterwards. Posh frocks, touring, festivals and cancelling summer all featured. James also revealed his hidden talent for nappies!
Spandau Ballet Key 103
When Spandau Ballet reformed and Jason was lucky enough to have 3 of the guys live in the studio at Key 103. It also gave Jason a chance to say sorry to Tony for singing Gold (badly) outside his house whilst tipsy!
Movie of the Month Century FM Network
Jason wrote and produced at feature for the Century FM network and Ocean FM called Movie of the Movie. It aired in the East Midlands, Southampton, the North West and North East.
96 Trent FM
After almost 5 years at Century FM the call came for Trent FM just down the road. Would I like to have a chat? A coffee catch up happened in the Slug and Lettuce that led to an offer, the rest is history.
106 Century FM
Jason joined Century FM in Nottingham at relaunch under Capital Radio PLC. What an amazing ride to go from a non threat to market leader in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham in just 4 years.
